Our client is seeking a well-rounded Social Media Specialist to join their busy Social Media team and to work to support their Fortune 500 brand. Here are key responsibilities for this role:
• Daily proofreading/traffic check of all scheduled posts in the enterprise publishing platform
• Schedule social media content on all Enterprise Channels
• Channel Manager for Instagram, Pinterest, and Google+, including posting and moderation
• Community Moderation of Brand posts on Facebook and Instagram, including flagging anything urgent for follow up when necessary.
• Copywrite for Enterprise social articles, including Social Team’s Newsletter
• Assist with copywriting on request for international partners
• Curate general health and wellness content for social channels on request
• Coordinate Brand social content development and delivery, working with Brand team and agency
• Create and manage social media campaigns for business partners, including writing social copy and producing branded graphics in Photoshop (using provided templates)
• Manage paid social campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
• Review social post copy and creative submitted by agency and offer edits/feedback on behalf of team
• Curate Pinterest content for Social and Brand campaigns, and work with internal business partners to facilitate Pinterest posting
• Back-up Social colleagues when out of office
• Provide daily media report on request
• Post new content to Brand microsite using TeamSite CMS
• Be available to cover social monitoring for special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
• Curate public website articles for use in social posts
• General copywriting for internal communications (internal emails, process documents, etc.)
• Archive brand post graphics on Media Bin asset library
• General support duties – this has included taking photos and writing posts for Twitter at a local live event
• Partner with Brand team on behalf of Social team to assist/support wherever Brand intersects with Social

    Required Qualifications The successful candidate will need to possess:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on grammar/spelling/proofreading excellence; some copywriting experience a plus
    • A good sense of design/familiarity working with creative resources/agencies and knowledge of the development of digital creative materials
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in digital marketing, and with content management and social media publishing systems
    • Foundational knowledge of and experience with social media channel usage for business along with standard guidelines/protocols
    • Ability to work under deadline pressure and numerous projects simultaneously
    • Willingness to work during non-standard business hours, including evenings, weekends and company holidays.
    • Degree in marketing/communications, new media, and journalism preferred.
    Successful candidates will be required to pass a drug test and background check prior to start.
