Social Media Sr. Specialist – The BOSS Group – Bloomfield, CT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily proofreading/traffic check of all scheduled posts in the enterprise publishing platform (Percolate)
  • Schedule social media content on all Enterprise Channels
  • Channel Manager for Instagram, Pinterest and Google+, including posting and moderation
  • Copywrite for Enterprise social articles, including Social Team’s newsletter and assist with copywriting on request for international partners
  • Coordinate Brand social content development and delivery, working with Brand team and agency
  • Create and manage social media campaigns for business partners, including writing social copy and producing branded graphics in Photoshop (using provided templates)
  • Manage paid social campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Curate Pinterest content for Social and Brand campaigns, and work with internal business partners to facilitate Pinterest posting
  • Back-up Social COE colleagues when out of office
  • Provide daily media report (pulled from Percolate) on request
  • Post new content to Brand microsite using TeamSite CMS
  • General copywriting for Social COE internal comms (internal emails, process documents, etc)


You are:

  • A strong writer with excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on grammar/spelling/proofreading excellence; some copywriting experience a plus
  • A good sense of design/familiarity working with creative resources/agencies and knowledge of the development of digital creative materials
  • You bring:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in digital marketing, and with content management and social media publishing systems
  • Foundational knowledge of and experience with social media channel usage for business along with standard guidelines/protocols
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and numerous projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work during non-standard business hours, including evenings, weekends and company holidays
  • Degree in marketing/communications, new media, and journalism preferred.

Senior Social Media Specialist with Percolate
The Creative Group/Robert HalfBloomfield, CT

The Social Media Sr. Specialist will be tasked with the daily proofreading/traffic check of all scheduled posts in the enterprise publishing platform (Percolate)
Additional Responsibilities include:
– Schedule social media content on all Enterprise Channels
– Channel Manager for Instagram, Pinterest and Google+, including posting and moderation
– Community Moderation of Brand posts on Facebook and Instagram, including flagging anything urgent for team when necessary.
– Copywriting for Enterprise social articles, including Social Team’s newsletter
– Assist with copywriting on request for international partners
– Curate “filler” content for social channels on request
– Coordinate Brand social content development and delivery, working with Brand team and agency
– Create and manage social media campaigns for business partners, including writing social copy and producing branded graphics in Photoshop (using provided templates)
– Manage paid social campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
– Review social post copy and creative submitted by team and offer edits/feedback on behalf of Social
– Curate Pinterest content for Social and Brand campaigns, and work with internal business partners to facilitate Pinterest posting
– Back-up Social colleagues when out of office
– Provide daily media report (pulled from Percolate) on request
– Post new content to Brand microsite using CMS
– Be available to cover social monitoring for special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
– Curate articles for use in social post
– General copywriting for Social internal communities (internal emails, process documents, etc)
– Archive Brand post graphics on Media Bin asset library
– General support duties – this has included taking photos and writing posts for Twitter at a local live event In general, provide point of contact for Brand team on behalf of Social, and assist/support wherever Brand intersects with Social
Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience working in digital marketing, and with content management and social media publishing systems
  • Foundational knowledge of and experience with social media channel usage for business along with standard guidelines/protocols
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and numerous projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work during non-standard business hours, including evenings, weekends and company holidays.
  • Degree in marketing/communications, new media, and journalism preferred.
  • Four+ years marketing experience.
