Digital Media Manager – BACK9NETWORK

Job description

Working with a team, including part- and full-time staff, the Digital Media Manager is responsible for producing top-shelf, engaging web and mobile content that is aligned with company’s style and mission, while supporting initiatives to engage fans, sponsors and media partners.  Activities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Ensuring proper coverage of golf entertainment events and topics as they occur
  • Producing content according to the editorial plan and calendar, working across the internal team, freelance resources, external design and development staff
  • Collaborating with sales and product dev teams to craft content offerings that appeal to our key sponsors, including native advertising and email marketing campaigns
  • Generating and creating a high volume of ideas and content that are appropriate for all platforms (web, mobile, mobile app, and social media)
  • Writing whatever pieces need to be written, sourcing photos from relevant resources, helping to script video content, and self accountable for creating highly compelling content
  • Participating in the ongoing, daily, outbound digital media activities, including social media, that supports directly the company’s overall mission and content objectives
  • Editing and providing on-going maintenance of company’s homepage and article pages – on mobile, tablet and desktop
  • Driving the editorial agenda each day across all platforms
  • Using analytical trends to maximize content reach and traffic
